Pendle Hill Family Medical Centre

Appointments/Walk Ins

Pendle Hill Family Medical Centre is a new Bulk-Billing Medical Centre. We work with an appointment system and walk in system. Please call for an appointment or book online through Health engine (also on found our website). We also welcome Walk-in patients, so please feel free to do so. 

Please note there will be a priority for patients who need urgent medical attention. Reception staff will endeavour to inform you of any delays as you arrive.


 If you are unable to keep your allied health appointment, please phone reception on 02 9631 0024 to arrange another time that is more suitable. We require 24 hour cancellation notice to enable us to offer that appointment time to another patient. 

Bulk Billing & Fees

At Pendle Hill Family Medical Centre, we bulk bill all patients with a valid Australian Medicare Card. 

Services and referrals which are not covered by Medicare will be informed prior to the Doctors visit.  


Private patients are welcome and the Private fee is $70 for a standard consultation. 

*Please advise reception staff if you require extra time.  

*Fees also apply for some Medical Employment forms and Commercial Drivers licenses, please ask reception for details. 

After Hours

For an After Hours Home Visiting GP please contact Sydney Medical Services on  (02) 8724 6300.

In emergency situations please present to your nearest emergency department or our locak emergency department at Westmead hospital -Cnr Hawkesbury Rd &, Hainsworth St, Westmead NSW 2145 or dial triple zero "000"

Your Medical Results

If you have been referred for a test, please ensure you see your GP or make an appointment with one within a few days for your results .

Doctors are unable to take calls during consultations (unless emergency situations. Patients are suggested to come in to see the Doctor in person for your preventative health and better duty of care.

Confidentiality

Your Medical records are strictly confidential. Our practice is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your health information and ensure that this information is only available to an authorised member of staff.

Communication Assistance

 Patients who require communication assistance are asked to let the reception staff know prior to seeing the GP. 

Services such as TIS Interpreter Lines and Auslan services are used by our medical centre.

Patient Feedback

Please speak to a member of the clinical team, or the administrative staff, if you have suggestions, or are unhappy with the service you have received. Alternatively, you can contact the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission on 1800 043 159. 

Patient Rights

 Our practice regularly engages with local health services, such as specialists, hospitals. If required, your GP will provide sufficient information (eg, health summaries, medications list) to plan and facilitate for optimal patient care and for your health.
